I appreciate your work, and I’m sorry it’s been so frustrating and exhausting for you. Put me in coach!

I agree that this is worth doing. It needs it’s own thread(s).

Again, I’m trying to get guidance on how to get specific things done. Replies about the general state of SH - which as you well know I’ve read many times - are not helpful in this instance.

I can’t help unfortunately, as I have no privileges… @how can set things up.

@strypey I agree with you that the fediversity category seems like a catch-all right now and a separate category for what I’m here for would be good - though I’m very new here and don’t know much about the category structure yet.
Anyway, as long as the category is meant for a lot of stuff that I have no point of contact with, I don’t think its a good idea to give me any moderation privileges. :slightly_smiling_face:

On another note: I do have a lot of experience with moderating Discorse, but that was a long time ago. Long before federation. And I don’t know what else changed.

Can someone split the posts in a relevant topic?

I think that’s the recent overhaul of the About page. No other changes were made to my knowledge. https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/about.json is showing the complete information.

Sorry for being terse, I did not really read the topic, it’s past time for going to bed here.

Hmmm, that is a good question. As you’re a group owner, you can simply invite or add @JoinFediverseWiki to the @fediversity.hosts group.

I’d be happy to, but I don’t seem to have the appropriate privileges

Where do I find the controls for doing this? Can someone link me to documentation explaining the admin privileges and controls for category hosts, if it exists?

In this delicious snapshot from this topic on the right-hand side you see the admin-toolbox. As moderator it may be you have less tools available there.

Discourse has their documentation bundled here as forum topics:
