@silverpill added support for did:plc in APx:

APx v0.27.0 has been released. The authority of an ‘ap’ URI is now stored as OpaqueDid type: ApUri in apx_core::url::ap_uri - Rust
OpaqueDid allows DIDs with any method - including did:plc. A similar change was made for DID URLs, that should be enough for implementing proof verification.

We’ve got a thread going on the Blacksky GitHub talking through what a possible demo of ID interop between atproto and ActivityPub could look like:

**Update:** I propose connecting [merely at the identity level](https://github.c…om/blacksky-algorithms/rsky/issues/125#issuecomment-5405389374). - - - A working proof-of-concept of this is in development by @mikekasprzak here: https://github.com/bluesky-social/atproto/pull/3943 That PR however is unlikely to be merged since I suspect it’ll be deemed out of scope for the reference implementation of atproto. Maybe it’s the same for rsky, but I’d love to discuss it.
