Internet forums are probably the oldest form of social media. They can be implemented with the Activitypub protocol, but such implementations may not necessarily be compatible with each other. This document defines a common subset of Activitypub which is used by different platforms to federate groups in a mutually compatible way. Full text

I’ll be writing up an overview of the implementation soon (and clarify what I mean by things like “potentially compatible” with FEP-400e), now that it’s a fully bi-directional ActivityPub server (e.g. categories on two Discourse instances can now follow each other)
