In the absence of a context that implies another reason for the link, yes.

I’m guessing what they’re linking to is not Xitter as such, but their own account there. But personally, even when I maintained a Titter account to crosspost from my fediverse account, I avoided linking to it from outside Titter.

My advice to @eprodrom and the SWF would be to do they same with their accounts on the DataFarms. The purpose of those accounts is to guide people out of that place to the SWF website, and then to the fediverse. Not to guide people from their website into a DataFarm.
