Publish pages for AP guides on activitypub.rocks

Following up on the 2020-04-25 SocialCG Meeting

So we want to make the content of Guide for ActivityPub users and Guide for new ActivityPub implementers to the home page on https://activitypub.rocks.

@Sebastian proposed to publish a static page version of the wikis and keep the wikis alive, and have those static pages available as links from the site’s home page. This is a reminder for @cwebber to make the links available.

@cwebber: please link the following two “Published Pages”:

@nedjo: the wikis are now available as “published pages” so any edit should go to these URLs, with their own styling. (It’s now using the default styling. If someone has a better one, e.g., matching the activitypub.rocks style, go ahead and post it here – note that there is no obvious way to fix that style for now, but it should appear in time.)

@how thanks for the update!

Currently when I try to visit those published pages I get a message that they don’t exist or are private. Are we waiting to make them public once they’re linked on the activitypub.rocks site?

I’m not familiar with “published pages” in SocialHub (and I can’t immediately find relevant documentation). What should the workflow be going forward? When making an edit, should we make it to the wiki page? to the published page? to both?

Thx!

The edit goes to the wiki page, the published page is only a read-only view of it. Edits to the wiki page immediately reflect to the published page.

This is weird. I can see them all right, both logged-in and logged-out.

Great, thx!

I was logged in when I got that message, but now I’m seeing them fine both logged in and logged out.

I got the same on first click. Then a reload and things show up.
