In the Fediverse and in https://fediverse.town we discussed hashtags for 2022 a bit. We made a poll and these are the top 5 candidates.

None of these have change/challenge in them, what’s the plan/ideas to not get the fedi cooped when meaninglessly fluffy has no defence, you do need a balance, and you need a bridge, where is the balance.

Yesterday I was inspired to a new hashtag, and bringing Agency into the mix. Agency is what we lose to corporations more and more, and agency is what we have the opportunity to regain on the Fediverse by working together on this social fabric of ours. And create a peopleverse, not some cold-hearted metaverse.
Fediverse is the social #WebOfAgency where people interact on the basis of humanity.
- the capacity of an actor to act in a given environment.
- an individual engaging with the social structure.
It has both fluffy and spiky in it. A call to action, and a realization that a Web of Agency is what fedizens hold in their hands.

Counter cultures/sub cultures can’t be ONLY #mainstreaming they have to talk to themselves more/as much as they outreach its a balancing thing.
