Activating federation for older topics

as the discussion on FEP-1b12: Group federation is going strong, but the topic was created before we activated federation on the forum, I was looking into progress regarding the ability to enable federation for this topic. Looking into FEPs category’s actor followers I stumbled upon an error scrolling down (see recent warn in the ActivityPub logs, saying

GET request received by https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/ap/actor/1/followers.json?page=1 failed: 404 No object found)

I’m not sure where we discussed this feature already, I simply remember that you were thinking about it a while ago. Hopefully this will help you figure some details out.

Oh, see that line with the green ActivityPub icon below the first post? It’s clickable, and gives access to the “topic admin” (same goes for posts’ ActivityPub icons for “post admin”) and that allows you – if you have such admin privilege – to publish existing posts to the Fediverse.
