Debian now has a Fediverse Packaging Team

Debian now has a Fediverse Team which focuses on packagin Fediverse software for Debian.

This happens together with Debian launching its own Social Team and launching own instances of Pleroma, Peertube, WriteFreely and Pixelfed for project members.

I am neither affiliated with Debian nor one of the mentioned teams, but just found these news relevant.

Actually the FediverseTeam is quite busy, and would appreciate extra help for packaging more software.

If you’ re a Debian maintainer or would like to become one, this might be a good opportunity to package ActivityPub software for Debian!
