I just flagged two posts with heated remarks that go against good behavior according to CoC guidelines. Discourse marks them as “temporarily hidden” until forum staff handles the well-being incident.
However these posts were also federated out into the broader fediverse. In Discourse I can copy the post URL’s and search for them in e.g. Mastodon and find the flagged discussion. While things are hidden on the community forum to avoid flamewar and strife, on the fediverse anyone can quote-post and full-on “drama” may unfold without anyone on the community forum being aware of it.
