Awesome! Congrats. I’ve been following the Sovereign Tech Agency and considered applying for a job there, but am not able to completely move to Berlin at the moment. Look forward to keeping an eye on your progress and if there is any way I can help will be happy to do so.
Since leaving Discourse.org in December I’ve been very focused on digital sovereignty , including setting up a new community at digitallysovereign.org (using discourse, ftw!) where I am exploring providing practical guidance and a space for shared learning for folks on their digital sovereignty journey by self-hosting open source.
I’ve been disconcerted lately to find that the Discourse team appears to be putting the activityhub plugin on the backburner. I installed it on my Discourse to allow folks to subscribe to some public categories and I quite like it. But if it isn’t going to be improved anymore I am inclined to remove it from my site and just share topics manually on Mastodon.
You might contact @panos@catodon.rocks who is considering to work on the AP plugin. See:
I have cross-referenced this thread.
CC @angus do you know about plans for the Discourse AP plugin?
