Yeah, I personally think this is the most helpful approach the community can adopt.
Use the FEP process as a low barrier to entry first incubation level. And then, if a particular FEP proposal gathers implementation and momentum, and if there’s interest from the authors or the community, it can be proposed as a Work Item for the SocialWeb Community Group for further development (with more eyes and a more structured process on it).
