This morning on the Social Coding movement forum I created a new category to describe online social behavior in the form of “Social experience design” (SX) patterns, as witnessed on the Fediverse.
The first anti-pattern has been added, based on something I witness quite often:
Though there are no concrrete plans for this SX pattern library on short-term, longer term the idea is to let it be a helpful tool to inform the design of federated social apps. There are some great websites that already do collect similar patterns, but this library will be explicitly delving into technical open-standards support mechanisms for the Fediverse / Social Web.
