Hi I tried to add a link to Lauren’s article, but it said:
An error occurred: Sorry, you can only mention 10 users in a post.
Yes, a forum admin can set that allowed number of mentions higher. And a moderator could’ve blocked this thread for additional replies, because these replies cause the topic to no longer be bumped into the topic list upon wiki edits. I mentioned to @how twice that we should assign people with privileges to do this, and I think he agrees. We should still also do it, though.

@how Thanks so much, this is very useful context.
By a funny coincidence, my registrar just offered me the domain http://activitypub.forum/ for the princely sum of $2. I’ve pointed it here.
If it’s ever helpful for SEO, a naming re-shuffle, or even to host a read-only archive of the current forum, I’m very happy to donate it to the community. No strings attached, just an extra option on the table if people feel it’s worth using.
