The Social Web Community Group in the W3

The Social Web Community Group in the W3C is restarting monthly calls. Join us?

I am confused how this post got here.

  1. I didn’t make it here. (I did post that on my personal Mastodon account Johannes Ernst: "The Social Web Community Group in the W3C is rest…" - social.coop )
  2. If I hover over the account icon, it says “this account is no longer active”. It has my avatar and a user handle that’s apparently an auto-derived one from mine (appended a “1”)
  3. There is no associated account profile page, and there is no indication that I can see about where it came from.
Where do I log some usability issues?

Lol noooo, ghosts on the fediverse!

Some kind of impersonating incomplete Doppelgänger whose origin and whereabouts are completely opaque.

If this was federated in, it needs to be clear that it was, and where from, but there is no indication. Also, the headline is new (or perhaps just a truncation of the post?)

There are entirely too many guesses needed for this to be net-positive…

A post was merged into an existing topic: Can you hear me Fediverse?

This is what happened:

Thanks also for the feedback!

There is an ActivityPub status, but it’s currently only visible to staff.

This feedback is useful for my internal case that it should be visible to all users
